Dried Flower Mobile Workshop
Come make pretty things with flowers! Deborah Tankard of Woodstock Field to Vase will lead a dried flower mobile workshop that will get us in the mood for Spring. This is kid friendly if you want to share the experience with a little person!

Felt Embellishments by Renee Makes
Embellishing an existing wool garment is a fun way to both reimagine (and repair!) a woolen garment. For this workshop, bring item made from wool or other animal fiber (snags, holes and stains are okay!) This technique works well applied to knit, felted and woven fabrics!

Upstate Art Weekend
METATEM: We’ll be deep diving into the co-creation of reality we all unconsciously participate in every moment of our lives. The Ladies of Hinterland invite you to engage with your senses open and engage offered tools to play with this dialectic, the interplay between your cognitive processes and the external world for what ultimately becomes your perception.

Rhythm of Light is a collaborative installation featuring the work of Co-op members Katie Westmoreland and Nyamka Ayinde that explores the vibration of the Summer Solstice through light, sound, color and movement.

Ukraine Relief Fundraiser
Join us for a day in honor and in support of of our friends and family in Ukraine.
Co-op member Nancy Geaney will lead a traditional Ukrainian Easter Egg (pysanka) dying workshop. Make your own beautiful Easter Eggs with a special technique using wax and over-dying. Of course there will be a table for the kiddos to make their own (less complicated) eggs as well!
Enjoy homemade Ukrainian comfort food through out the day. After our workshop we’ll have an Easter Egg hunt and refreshments.
We’ll end our day with a raffle give away - an Easter Basket of treats from Hinterland! And, of course, everyone gets chocolate!
To join us please RSVP. Proof of donation to our chosen non-profit recipient, World Central Kitchen, will be required. Suggested donation per adult is $150.

Our fifth session will be hosted by Marcie Paper who will guide us through our evening with a focus on memory. Through her personally developed practice of recalling and recording memory, Marcie will help us explore ways in which engage with our relationship to time.

As we watch the unfolding of the conflict in Ukraine, we are faced with our own internal conflicts of helplessness and guilt. This week we’ll dig into those feelings and explore ways to support Ukraine through our practices and beyond.
